How to Use the Reports

A laboratory report should be read alongside the product information. Three checks make it easier to understand what you are looking at.

1st Check

Match the Product

Start by making sure the report relates to the product and strength you are reviewing.

2nd Check

Review the Cannabinoids

Look at the measured CBD and other cannabinoid results rather than relying on a headline strength alone.

3rd Check

Use the Tested Result

Where a laboratory result and generic marketing wording differ, the product-specific laboratory report is the better reference.

WHAT IS A CERTIFICATE OF ANALYSIS?

A Certificate of Analysis, often referred to as a COA, is a laboratory report showing the results obtained from testing a product sample.

For CBD products, this can include information such as:

  • CBD content
  • Other detected cannabinoids
  • THC levels
  • Cannabinoid profile
  • Laboratory testing thresholds

A COA gives customers greater visibility into the composition of the tested product sample.

INDEPENDENT TESTING

Altum uses independent third-party laboratory testing for its CBD range.

Testing is carried out by Eurofins Food Testing UK Limited, helping us provide customers with independent information about the cannabinoid composition of our products.

Laboratory results relate to the specific sample tested and should always be read alongside the relevant product and batch information.

ABOUT UKAS

UKAS is the United Kingdom Accreditation Service, the national body responsible for assessing the competence of laboratories and other conformity-assessment organisations.

Altum uses Eurofins for independent laboratory testing, supporting our commitment to transparency and clear product information.
